Cheryl Valentine

 

Cheryl Valentine is Director of Business Operations for the Carilion Biomedical Institute.

Cheryl oversees the internal operations of CBI including deal flow, due diligence, investment selection, and budgeting, marketing and public relations for the Institute.  Cheryl also contributes to internal projects for Carilion Clinic and is currently working on development of a new joint medical school with Virginia Tech.

Cheryl received a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. 

Prior to obtaining her MBA, Cheryl was a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in mergers and acquisitions due diligence and post merger integration where she served a variety of clients in the energy, consumer products and transportation industries.

She currently serves on the board of directors of Firefly Lighting Innovations.
